Default Heated Mirror DTCs with Forscan reverse tilt enabled

I am getting open circuit codes for driver and passenger mirror heaters with Forscan autofold ****EDIT: Reverse Tilt**** programming. Not sure if this is normal but was unable to locate it in any other threads.

Passenger Door Module (PDM) getting B1164 code - Right Mirror Heater Output
741-03-01 Fxxx (oem A)
741-13-01 Fxxx (oem 0)

Driver Door Module (DDM) getting B1163 code- Left Mirror Heater Output
740-03-01 Fxxx (oem A)
740-13-01 Fxxx (oem 0)

I reverted back to as-built, cleared dtc's, activate rear defrost to active heated mirrors.... test and retest and no codes.
Adding the F's back in both modules, no codes, but immediately upon activating defrost/htd mirrors with the recommended autofold ****EDIT: Reverse Tilt**** programming... the codes reappear for both modules.

I have not actually verified if the mirror heaters are functional or not with the codes, wanted to see others' experience with this before getting too worked up.

In my troubleshooting, it does not matter if these are reset..... as soon as the rear defrost/htd mirrors are activated the same codes trigger.... unless of course switching back to stock with no autofold, then no codes will come back after a reset. I would like to add that in testing I'm not even folding mirrors at all.... these codes strictly trigger upon mirror heater activation.

I have tow mirrors and did this mod over a year ago. Mine periodically throws these codes. No worries, everything still works.

What are you trying to accomplish? Reverse Tilt mirrors or Autofold mirrors?
740/1-03-01 Fxxx xxxx is for reverse tilt mirrors
740/1-12-01 Fxxx is for auto folding mirrors
I have Lincoln auto fold mirrors with heat in my XL and don't have any issues

Thanks for pointing this out... led me to dig in further and clarify. I have reverse tilt and lincoln autofold programmed.

With your direction, further testing and running across THIS POST with exact same concern, I was able to confirm the codes are directly related to reverse tilt, NOT autofold. Wish I could update the thread title but modified first post for clarification.

So it looks like these codes are normal or at least common.... now the question is can they be resolved?? because it appears that for some like me that heated mirrors will not function with reverse tilt programmed.

I’ve had reverse tilt programmed since it was discovered over a year ago. I don’t need my heated mirrors often, but have never had an issue with them working, even with the recurring DTCs.

Same here.. Always have the codes,, mirrors still work,, heaters are working as I checked them the other day with the temp gun while checking the seats.

That explains why I don't see the errors, I don't have the reverse tilt since I don't have the memory module.
I would guess you may not be able to get rid of them.
The hard part of this is which code is the actual trouble maker to cause the error code, the 740-03 or the 740-13.
The weird part of this error is the mirror heaters do not go through the door modules. If your back window defroster works, the side mirror heaters will work, they are fed directly from your under the hood fuse box. So unless the truck senses current flow at the fuse box, which shows no electronics in the circuit, this error code means nothing. I just tried to find the error code in all the stuff I have downloaded and it doesn't appear, although that doesn't mean it doesn't exist somewhere.
Those two errors are from the Ford Explorer. They will not hurt anything except for being an annoyance.
