There are no “brighter lights” that will not blind oncoming drivers. Light doesn’t have to point in their eyes, it is the wall of oncoming light which is the problem.

Perhaps you have a vision problem and should not drive at night?
HA.

So what did you end up getting?
Same ones you did. Thanks again for the suggestion! More expensive than the f150leds package, but too many mixed reviews on this and other forums. Didn't want to take the chance.

I have to assume based on the information you provided, that you've never driven any other vehicle in the history of time!!

If you keep seeing blinding walls of light, then you're seeing people who buy $10 LEDs (or, God save us, HIDs) put in the crappy reflector housings that have decayed and yellowed on the 'lens'. Or you could genuinely have an eyesight problem

It's not a case of how bright the light is per sé, it's how well directed it is.

Did you need the conversion harness since you switched out from led headlights? Do you think the Alpha Rex harness is interchangeable with the boosted greygoose?

Installed Morimoto 3.0. Fit nicely. Few quirks: Radio reception FM/AM dropped from LED interference - solved this by reassigning DRL to front turn lights. It remains a problem when driving on Low beam. I do not drive at night too often , therefore it is tolerable. I do not have problem with PWM and associated flickering but did attempted to disable PWM in forscan , it resulted in two errors that didn't go away until I re-enabled the PWM for Low beam. Despite the fact that I purchased new rubber dust caps, I did managed to install the OEM caps nicely as it is much nicer/reliable fit. There is difference in light output and I think it is quite a flood of light . I have not had anyone to flash me down yet but had a funny moment last night when I stopped behind a cop and he hesitated to drive on . the stupid beams lighted all reflective signs on the road like a Christmas tree. If you are sensitive like I am, there might be a legitimate chance to be pulled over.

Thumbs up on the AUXITO led bulbs, very easy to install, just pop the hood and you are able to swap the bulbs without any issues. Worked right away. Easily gave me an improvement when I have them on which is any time the lights are on. Give plenty of sight to the near and out to the sides as well beyond the normal left and right limit of the low beams.
