Is this on your truck? If so do you have any pictures, and are you happy with it?
i'm content .. they are really DRL's for the 15-17 but i have a 2018 and i didn't like the look of the Anzo C bar .. this was before Alpharex so i decided to mod them myself .. i think they would be perfect if i had the tube covering for the DRL .. when they are not on they look a little naked.. but once they are on you can't really tell
Ok, well I decided to have the dealership install new headlight assemblies, I love the look of the it but what a pain in the *** dealing with the guys at the dealership, I told them to not remove the LED's but of course the messed that up not once but twice, then the mechanic, if that's what you want to call him, told me that's how it came, at this point I was just a little fussy and proceeded to ask him if he thinks I am a freaking moron and then whipped out the pics I took, long story short, I finally got what I asked for and couldn't be happier!
The oem headlights have good aim and spread, the problem is woefully inadequate output. Do the bulb mod, the headlamps are pretty good for not being projectors.
That's not exactly a fair statement, the projectors Ford put in my son's Fusion are worse than the 150 halogens.
Flamingtaco, can you link to the mod you are referring?
I'm guessing you could pick up a set of stock halogen headlight assemblies for less than a $100. Lot's of folks retrofit the stock halogens.
Frankly I'm surprised the dealer will even touch your headlights since they've obviously been taken apart and modified. If they're doing it for free consider yourself lucky and thank them.
And you can take it a step further by installing Led bulbs with Philips Z-ES chips. Everyone claims 8000lm, but It's probably between 4000 and 5000lm per set. Impressive output none-the-less.
Z-ES chips are 1.6x2.0mm, and are arranged in sets of three for 1.6x6.0mmm. This is very close to the spec dimensions of halogen filaments (1.5x5.0mm for most automotive). Beware LED bulbs using much larger chips, almost all of them create glare for oncoming drivers.

I hear this a lot, and I’ve not driven an led factory F150. I’ve also noticed how nice the factory leds look on the Silverado. I drove a 2016 Silverado tonight as a work vehicle and the headlight output was subpar, though spread was good. I was amazed how much more noticeably brighter the halogens in my truck looked when I got back in mine, especially the high beams.
