Default Headlight options?

Ok boys and girls, I bought the Morimoto XB's a few weeks ago and i'm not sure i'm really digging them. I think I have buyer's remorse for paying $1500 for headlights. Are there more affordable options that are close in quality and output? I've looked at Anzo's with LED/HID upgrades or factory LED's that seem to be elusive and around the same price as the Morimotos. What're y'all running? My stockers are halogen chrome housings...

It’s Anzo’s for me. Pretty happy with them. They look great.

I have had nothing but issues with one of my Morimoto XBs and @TRS will not replace it under warranty. I have had to install a diode and later a new harness but still having issues. They just keep sending trouble shooting tips and requesting pictures. Much remorse here.

I replaced my halogen bulbs with Techmax LEDs and have been happy. Plenty of people here will tell you that Morimoto or OEM LED are the only ways to go, but I've been very impressed with the light output and the light cutoff. You could order them on Amazon and give them a try. If you don't like them, just return them. There are a couple of threads dedicated to replacement LED bulbs with all kinds of options and photos.

Is that in stock LED or halogen housings? I'm not usually a fan of LED in reflectors and blinding oncoming traffic.

They are LEDs in the halogen housings. The bulbs are designed with the LED chips in place to mimic where the light would be produced in a halogen bulb giving you the same cutoff and light spread you have with halogens in the housing.
