Default Headlight help

My 15 has the halogen headlights and fogs instead of the LED, has anyone changed the bulbs out with led or hids yet?

Default Headlight help

I put HID's in mine, ordered the LED retrofit from Raptor Retrofits the next day. Beam was horrible and just threw light everywhere except on the road.

Member Baxzilla ordered and installed the retrofit headlights. Boatmanbuzz did the same and posted a "how to" on installing them. I think they are both really happy with the LEDs.

I had the LEDs on a King Ranch then traded for a XLT. I'm ok with the halogen light pattern but the LED was a lot better for brightness and aesthetics.

Honestly bud save up the coin and get the LEDs. They look good, preform better, and throwing HID bulbs in halogen housings is just a pain. (Trust me I did that on my old silverado. Never Again!)

Do people even try to find information for themselves these days?

The conversion kit is $1650 shipped. If/when Raptor Retrofit sells the adapters alone the price will significantly go down. You can get new LED headlights from Tasca for about $473 I think, so that's $946 for both. And if his adapter follows the price of his 2014 model adapter it'll be only $125.

So the entires assembly has to be replaced? I can't just simply change out the halogen bulb for a LED one?
