Headlight change
I changed my OEM LED headlights to Morimotos yesterday. It was 25 degrees and hadnt been above freezing in days; no broken tabs or anything. Just have to be careful and be mindful that parts are brittle. Definitely do NOT need to remove the airbox, battery, or wheel wells.
Just the plastic piece that wraps around the headlights next to the grille and runs to the wheel well and the small plastic "bumper" type thing under the headlight. Swapping both headlights out took me under 2 hours from start to finish.
You can DM me if you have any questions about how I did it...
EDIT: Just read your update.... I would imagine if you just need to do the bulbs, the airbox and battery route would be easer.... the wheel well liners have a ton of clips and that's an odd angle to be working in.

Thank you Gasser.
Me personally, I have to pull the whole light buckets. Can’t get me feeble fingers in there.
I can can pull one in 15 minutes.
