Is there a trick to adjusting the headlights. I have a 2019 king ranch and put a level kit on it. Now I need to adjust the headlights a little and there seems to be a little gear wheel that holds the adjustment screw in place and won’t let me turn it.

 

I wish I had some advice for you, but I'm not quite sure what that is you're looking at in the photo. The OEM headlight adjustment (assuming you have OEM LEDs in a 2019 King Ranch), should look like the circled bit in the below photo.

 

Nevermind, that is apparently a 2021+ headlight. I was mistaken. The 2019 is what is in your photo. I don't have any advice other than what does the owners manual say? I have a 2018 with Halogen, but my 2018 owners manual has the same directions for halogen and LED (#2 phillips and turn the adjuster).

 

I think that little gear is what turns when you turn the other part with your screwdriver. Maybe it's just sticking, try wiggling it back and forth a little bit to loosen it up.
