Headlight Adjustment
Long time lurker here. I just purchased my FIRST Ford yesterday. I picked up a used 2015 King Ranch and was driving it home last night in the dark. The headlights are a little off, the passenger light seems to be pointing down about 12-15 feet out from the truck and the driver is pointed towards the left a bit.
Is this something that the dealership should handle or should I just tackle it in my driveway? The truck only has 8k miles on it, could this be something that didn't get done correctly from the dealership or is there an problem with the LED lights "adjusting" themselves over time?

You can tackle this yourself. It's usually VERY easy. On the top of your headlight you'll see a white screw looking thing. This is your adjustment ****. It turns left/right and moves the headlight up/down.
It's POSSIBLE your alignment goes off over time. Especially if say the housing was not SEATED into the truck and then it CLICKED in somehow, moving the light. OR if the light itself is not SECURE. It's the entire housing really.
Anytime you replace bulbs as well you want to check alignment as some bulbs are brighter. I know with halogen bulbs you always want to replace them as a PAIR. Same goes for HID and I'd even say for LED. Because over time lights do dull out. LED don't do that as much as HID, and HID not as much as halogen, but in the end they all do that over time. So if you ever did have a bulb go, replace BOTH (if you have the factory LED of course i'd recommend maybe NOT doing that since they are EXPENSIVE to replace)
The dealerships have to go through an INSPECTION to pass a vehicle but honestly I doubt they check how ALIGNED the headlights are.

Took my wifes edge to the dealer, had one too high. Service writer told me they lower a garage door that has a line across it, make adjustments too the line.
I think there was even info in the owners manual about doing it.

Honestly, unless it's really out of your way I'd just bring it to the dealer, I would think that they should have noticed and/or corrected headlight alignment before selling it.
You pay extra for warranty, may as well use as much of it as you can.
