I have a 2016 Ford F150 5.0L Coyote. What would be an easy Header placement. I've Heard the shorty's are pretty easy to install and not much fab work. What brand and size do you recommend?

 

I prefer long tubes. They might require tuning to get full potential. The shorties normally work well with stock tune. If you source any list them here. My truck 2018 has cat back dual exhaust. Sounds great.

I helped install a set of JBA Shorty headers on a 14 F150 when a friend and I did a motor swap. I think JBA only rates them for like 10hp, the juice isn't really worth the squeeze unless you live in CA like my friend and have to deal with CARB compliance for emissions. Long tube headers will out perform shorties in every way.

 

Scavenger elite series works great, bolt on and go.

 

Shorties accomplish nothing other than looking pretty. Longtubes or keep manifolds
