Its definitely silly to force you into that 501a package, the only thing I'd want out of it is remote start. And even if the dealer added it, you probably won't get it integrated into the keyfob but whatever...I wouldn't want to spend 1200 bucks on BLIS, led mirrors and all that jazz.

Base lariat, fx4, tow package and remote start is all i'd want.

In current trims, it's pretty easy to add. Several options, one including keyfob. Not to say it will continue this way, but I see it being likely as it's all via canbus.

Yep, a 7000 lb GVWR 2015 has similar payload a last gen 7700 max tow. The difference will be that RAWR should not be such a bottleneck as you would know. 157" and 163" seem to get even more than 7000 GVWR as well.

I do see they brought back the rear view camera for XLT HD. I could not get it in my 14 that I had built in April. I don't like the new step bars, I like mine much better.
