HD Payload=No aadded options.

HD Payload on Lariat is for the base package only so no things like remote start, bucket seats, flow through console, but you can get nav. I have HD Payload on my current truck, but I'm skipping it this time.

On the Ordering Guide, they list Remote Start (along with BLIS, Reverse Sensing and some other items) as being available only in packages on Lariats, not as stand-alone items. They're in 501A and 502A (Mid and Luxury), but HD Payload is only available in 500A (Lariat Base). So, unless they reconfigure things, it looks like Remote Start won't be an option on HD Payload trucks.
I sure hope there's enough extra payload on the lighter trucks, because 502A is about where I want to be.

How is the ride quality can you tell you have the HD package? Going to see if my dealer will throw in remote start.

HD payload doesn't seem as necessary this time around.
In a 4x4, the 2.7tt has 6500 GVWR
with payload package it has 7000 for scab and 6900 for screw.
HD is 7850 for XLT and above. We can assume 5.0 and 3.5tt = 7000/6900 GVWR.
Using the configurator in 2x4 (payloads end up being the same as 4x4) to configure all body styles:
2160 lbs for scab 145" (7000 lb GVWR)
1960 lbs for scrw 145" (6900 lb GVWR)
2070 lbs for scrw 157" (7100 lb GVWR?)
2210 lbs for scab 163" (WTF lb GVWR!)
Obviously we can take off for options/gear, but it seems that payloads are damn good.
HD may give higher rated axles and other longer lasting components.

HD Payload option (avail with 5L as well as EcoB) boosted it up even further by 600-1000#.
Curious to see how the # with 2015 3.5L EcoB turn out.
