Joined the OEM LED club today, and added a PTM platinum grille...I’ll try to get my pictures together and do a detailed write up ASAP

If you are in Canada you can order up Molex parts from DigiKey.ca for this mod for relatively good rates. I got what I needed plus some extras (just incase) for under $30 CAD shipped.

I'm also building my own harness to retain all factory plugs, this way if I ever need to revert back to stock halogens I easily can just plug, program and swap. As far as I can tell, the part number for the brown 3157 park lamp socket is: 2U5Z13411SA which should probably be included in the first post.

2U5Z-13411-SA

Not needed (but related), is the pigtail 3U2Z 14S411-FHAB

I️ did the same thing with the turn signal socket, I️ cut them open, drilled a tiny hole in each contact, and soldered leads to each one. Avoided cutting off the OEM connectors that way.

A word of advice to anyone doing this mod - it’s much easier if you leave yourself some extra wire, and instead fish your wires to the driver side footwell. There is a grommet in the upper left driver side footwell that is much easier to access from both inside the truck and under the hood. You’ll just have to run to the driver side headlight first, and then continue on with your other 2 wires to the passenger side headlight. I ran my wires across the front of the truck and zip-tied to an existing harness that ran behind the front bumper for that.

Thanks so much for this post. I ordered two set ups worth of material for the "plug and play route". Does the alert for the seat module pop up everytime you start your truck? Thanks again guys.

I did it on a 2017 xlt, and I have zero issues, and I’m throwing zero error codes. I did not change all the FORScan values stated in the post though.

ShadowblackXLT I was just scoping this out and was having a difficult time trying to find out how to get to the grommet on the passenger side interior. Going to check the drivers side like you did.
