I've come to the conclusion that the Halogen Headlights on my 2019 are just not cutting it. Without turning this into a major debate, would you just swap the high / low / turn and fogs to LED bulbs in the halogen housing, or upgrade to an aftermarket housing? I had the LED running lights on my 2015, and that looked amazing, leaning toward that look again, but don't want to end up with low quality aftermarket housings. Also would there be additional wiring needed to get the LED running light working properly on an aftermarket housing?
As I am sure you are aware, the cheapest alternative is to swap to drop-in LEDs. I used Sealight bulbs 9+ years ago and they still work fine. All-in at less than $75 for all 3 sets. There are much better alternatives today. Check out Headlight Revolution Youtube LED bulb shootouts for your generation truck. They do a great job of analysis.
I use LED bulbs in the stock reflectors, have been since 2017. My low beam, SupreNova V3s, started to go last Thanksgiving getting dimmer. Replaced the 9 year old bulbs with GTR Ultra 3's and am impressed. Very clean cutoff, bright slightly off white, wide beam I like for rural driving.
Fahren LEDs on Amazon are nice! Buddy of mine been running their high lows and fogs for little 4 years now no issues, spent less 100$,
I just installed mine back in March! Pretty happy with them,
(My passenger headlight was completely covered over in condensation for this Pic)
