Default Gun Vault - Installation

I've looked all over the Internet and can't find the specific information I would like.

Can anyone here tell me what I would need to know about mounting (bolting) this lockbox to the floor underneath the rear seat of my 2015 F150 SuperCrew, please? I've never done such a thing before and I don't want to drill through any fluid lines or wiring.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

Your YouTube link looks strange with a . in the “tu.be” part?
As I recall, Gun Vault lock boxes secure with a cable. Unless it’s one of their MiniVaults which have bolt holes to secure them down. Which model are you trying to bolt down under the rear seat?

I have something similar because I travel sometimes from Georgia to Delaware and back. There's about a 20-mile stretch through Maryland (no avoiding it). You're doomed if you get caught with that stuff in Maryland. I just ran the cable around the seat post hardware in a way that will keep the box under the drive's seat, but allow it to slide out enough to open it.

It's valid. Google uses it to shorten the URL.

That's how YouTube provides the link when you copy a URL from their site. Copying and pasting will take you right to the item I'm talking about.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing for now, running the cable. The cable that comes with this particular unit is seriously industrial. Check out the video If you haven't seen it yet. It's quite a cable. I just wanted to bolt it down into the floor somehow, but I don't want to drill through things that would result in damage to something important.

position it where you want it then go under the truck and see what is there, that's going to be the best way to see what you may be drilling through. I would use stainless bolts and put rubber grommets down to seal the hole off.
