Local junkyard prob your best bet. Otherwise check the popular dealer parts sites like Tasca or even ebay. I had to replace the shutter assy behind the grill due to broken corner. Didn’t feel like digging thru junkyards. Local dealer wanted nearly $400 incl tax. Found new one (from a dealer) on eBay, that combined with a 15% or whatever it was ebay coupon, ended up costing my $160 shipped. Just dig up the part number for your style grill and do a little searching

Check facebook marketplace and the classified section on here. There's usually a few in there, depending on your region. Usually pretty affordable too.

Boomer, I thought you knew better than that!!! There's better ways to get venison that don't destroy your truck!!! At least it was your truck and not your bike!!! Good luck with getting your grill replaced. if you needed a sport grill, i could help you out, but you want that shiny fancy chrome thing on yours. LOL!!!

Morning,

I have a 5 bar XLT grill in my garage. Pay for shipping and top on $20 for a 12 pack of beer and its yours. Sick of looking at it, I'm in Seattle. Mint shape.

From a 2016.

Thanks to all that responded. After inspection in the daylight I know now that the shutter under the grille is broken too. I may find more as it is disassembled. My deductible is $500 so with additional damage I have gone over already. I think I'll get an estimate and then decide what to do. Another words let them see if they see anything else.

Thanks @jmslf150 for your generous offer. I will wait and see what the body shop says before making up my mind.

Boomer,

Sorry to hear that it's more involved than you first thought. Hopefully it will be better for you to file an insurance claim than try to shell out the bucks for nickel and dime stuff. You'll have it looking good in no time.

I got a 5 bar grill and shutter system from Fairway Ford on Ebay for $800 shipped. The 5 bar is the most expensive grill on F-150s. If the grill is toast likely the shutter structure is also. Extremely brittle and designed to absorb energy in an impact....by folding in to a plastic pile of junk. The installation/removal is on youtube if you look up bumper removal.

You may find that your insurance will cover you under comprehensive and you won’t have to pay a deductible. Hope so....
