Green Gem
Does anyone have any pictures of the 2015/16 in Green Gem? All the photos I've seen so far of it make the color seem pretty dark, along with the Blue Jeans... and both those colors seem to look a bit lighter on the Ford website. I just kind of want to get an idea of just "how dark" Green Gem is, in natural light.
My F250 I traded in was Gem Green. Everyone thought it was black until the sun hit it just right.. then they thought I bought a new truck.
When I was shopping, Carmen Ford in Delaware had one on the lot. You might be able to get some pics off their website.

It looks almost black when it is in the shade or at night, and in direct sunlight it is an amazing shiny green. It changes colors drastically depending on the light that hits it a lot like blue jeans.
I really like it though, it's very striking and kinda uncommon. I see black and white and red everywhere followed by probably grey. Blue and green the least.

Yeah, that last pic of the sun hitting it makes it look pretty, but damn, it really does look so very dark otherwise. I love green, especially a green with tan interior combo, but that just looks very dark.

This like blue jean and dark burgundy colors look great when the sun is shining and the vehicle is very clean. If dirty.....the color is lost and the color looks blackish. I really like blue jean but dang you have to keep it clean. I have black....black is black....clean for five minutes black i call it.
Oh well, my two cents. Some of the new Dodge colors are downright weird. M1911

Yeah, black is the hardest color to keep clean. I agree that Dodge has some stranger colors for their trucks, but I have to give them credit for at least offering such a wide range of choices. It seems like recently, more and more colors are disappearing from automaker's lists... I see nothing but either red, or "colors" that are extremely dark, or dark-tinted, like metallic reds that are almost black, a whole gamut of grays and "charcoals"... even the blues and greens are almost black, they're so dark. I'm kinda sick of all this darkness. I wish more bright colors would be brought back. The fact that in most cases, you also have to step up one or two trim levels just to get a non-black interior also miffs me. Oh, well, lol.
