Ok, so this is probably a dumb question, but I do not know if I have GPS in my truck. Obviously is does have Sync and I registered on syncmyride.com. A buddy said I just needed to buy the GPS SD card, but the top right of my touch screen says INFORMATION and not NAVIGATION like in his? Wanted to get a straight answer before I bought the card. It doesn't saying anything on the owners sticker, just that I have Sync. Thanks for deal with this dumb question.

 

Its a little more involved then that. You need the SD Card, your truck needs to be programmed with a "Build As" VIN from a truck with factory NAVI from what I understand.

Unless you have a friend that works at the dealership and has access to the gear and subscription to modify its not easily done.

If your Sync screen normally shows a compass in the top right corner when on the home screen it does not have navi LOL

I just want to piggy back off what BoostedScrewXLT said. If you don't see INFORMATION at the top right, you don't have built-in navigation. It must be built at the factory, and it is not available as an aftermarket installation.

Some vehicles receive a limited complimentary subscription to the service. You can PM the VIN, so I can provide the options you have available.
