Default Got to be kidding

Have to 2019 SuperCrew, 4x4, Lariat with 7k miles. Really have loved the truck. Only issue is once you pass 45 mph there is an increasing whistle that comes through the passenger cabin. They had the vehicle for over 3 weeks, said the fixed it and first time on highway it was whistling away. Faster you go the louder it gets. Know it sounds a bit finicky, but man after 20 minutes it gets pretty old. Anyone else have this?

Does it have the original radio antenna (the one with the spiral wire wrapped around it)?

The spiral wire is there to eliminate the wind noise. I replaced the original antenna on mine with a shorter one that didn't have the spiral wire and immediately noticed wind noise from the passenger side when on the highway. I looked around some more and found a shorter antenna with the spiral wire just like the original, and the wind noise went away.

Other posts have said it's a trait of the 10-speed transmission. My 98 Accord had a high pitch whine from the transmission at highway speed but you had to turn the radio off to hear it. I liked it, at 80 mph it sounded like you were cruising in a jet.

Only hear a whistling sound when I put the Ford tow mirrors on. They're pretty annoying at highway speeds. Doesn't seem to matter id they're deployed all the way out or in. Passenger side seems to be the source.
The regular single glass panel mirrors are completely silent. Dealer said it's typical with the tow mirrors and there's nothing they can do about it. I only put the tow mirrors on when pulling the camper now.

I put OEM tow mirrors on and notice no extra wind noise at all.

Switch the HVAC to recirculate. Does it change. The cabin is pretty air tight and will sometimes have a positive pressure inside, as it would seem.

In other vehicels, the cabin filter has caused a whistle when in recirc mode. Open/close your recirc and report back.

Be like me and work around jet engines for so long that you can't hear high pitches anymore... Seriously though if any of the aforementioned suggestions work or if you find the cause and resolve it, please reply.
