I may not have the skill that some of you have regarding modding your trucks, but I am happy with my mods for today.

1. Added the wired Keypad to my 2017 F150 XL. It took a little time to get the wires just where I wanted, but I am real happy to have the keypad on my Truck!

2. Routed my USB/Lighting Cable so I could close the slide door on the USB compartment. I really hate wires strung all over the place, so this mod feels good every-time I get in the truck.

Simple stuff, but it feels good

Good job! I routed my cables through the console so I can keep the door shut too. It's a small project with a high payoff for those of us that don't like wires laying around.

 

I must be slow.. what is the wired keypad for?

 

Lock and unlock your truck by entering a code on the Keypad, this is the factory version that is installed in the factory.
