Default good dash mount for iphone?

Hi Guys

Used gecko grip (: http://a.co/e3B4bU3) successfully in past, but it just won't stick to dash of my 2017 F-150 XL

Anyone found a good dash mount (adhesive, friction or sandbag) that will keep my iPhone 7 plus in place)

Don;t want windshield, heater or cd slot mounts

TIA

Mark

A suction cup mount I found and use with my iphone 7 works perfectly where the trailer backup would go if I had that option. Cleaned both surfaces with rubbing alcohol and haven't had it come loose yet been on for a little over a year. It comes in a variety pack of 3, I used the medium one flipped upside down.

first time I've tried to link something, let me know if I messed it up.

Look at both Proclip and Panavise. I use a modified Panavise base with a wired Proclip mount.

Once I went this route. I never went back to anything else. 7 or 8 other people have bought the same mount, after seeing mine.

Basically you stick the metal plate in your phone case or you can peel off the paper and stick the plate to your phone. Then you just attach your phone to the mount using magnets.

Yes it is strong enough, I have never had the phone drop. And I have a big Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus with a thick case on it.

It comes in various methods of install. Suction cup, adhesive, CD player, Vents ...

Thanks. Had seen proclip and know they make good products, just not keen on how it looks on F-150. Maybe I'll try and find some more images

Thanks,, but this covers too much of vent. I don;t want hot air or AC blowing on phone (and blocking air to me)

hmmm. I tried a suction cup on dash, but it falls right off due to texture. WUsed on like this great on my BMW, but doesn;t seem to work on F150 dash

I found this one and I like it alot. It says its for an I-phone, but I stuck the metal disk on the back of my Otterbox on my LG4 and it works just fine. The mount is powder coated aluminum and not very big but has a strong magnet which hold the phone securely in place even with the extra weight of the otter box

protector. Got it on Amazon.
