Default Good/Bad Weekend

First the good. I picked up a new set of General Grabber UHP tires for my summer wheels. 305/40/23's from Tire Rack in South Bend Indiana. Got a great price and no shipping since I picked 'em up. Now the bad. Driving in traffic on I 80 I took a stone to the glass and cracked the windshield. $100.00 deductible on comprehensive. 😩

I'll find out tommorow. I figured I'd have to pay the deductible. BTW, Tirerack is a BIG place. Showroom and distribution center. I got there @ 8:00 am when they open and there was a waiting line outside the door for service!

Usually if its smaller than a dollar bill, it's fixed for free through ins. Just depends on your insurance I think. I'd have to pay my deductible through USAA.

USAA didn't charge me a deductible on my windshield change.

Huh, good to know. I haven't had to make a claim with them yet, so fingers crossed that continues haha.

My dealer (Ted Britt in Virginia) includes a "Lifetime Warranty" with every purchase. Covers drivetrain, windshield replacement and a new battery every 4 years. I'm sure I "paid" for it somewhere (i.e. lower discount on purchase).

It started out small, grew vertically from the bottom of the windshield, then took a hard right. I'd say it's a goner.

I can't believe nobody else asked... Enough about the cracked glass, let's see the wheels and tires
