I saw one for GMC with a bunch of jackasses carrying tailgates, followed by another jackass folding down have of a tailgate
on a GMC truck that no one will ever haul anything in the bed with.

Yea... I saw that one.
Crap, if that is the only option they can brag about on the 2019 GMC Sierra, then they failed in producing a new generation of their truck. But this is the type of crap that happens when you design and engineer a truck by committee and then need focus group approval for the feature to make it to the new model. This has been the demise of GM for the last 25 years.

Just saw it a few minutes ago. Stupid. It’s probably gonna break after 2 uses with all the ways it can move. People are gonna break it cause they don’t know how to put it back together. And i mean cool you made a fancy tailgate that is beyond what anyone will ever need and you put it on an ugly truck
