Default Gear Indicator

Hey guys, just noticed the other day that the gear indicator for 1-6 on the RPM tac isn't on anymore. My plat is barely 2 weeks old and I've already had my drivers side DTR light go out. If this is something else that's already went out, I might snap lol. Hopefully you guys can help me before I take it to the dealer again. I appreciate it!

Just hit the + on your gear shift handle to toggle that display on and off.

Awesome! Thanks! I've literally been looking around everywhere in my settings and such trying to figure it out. Kinda feel stupid that it's something that simple. My first ford lol!

It's pretty cool that you can select not to use 6th, 5th, etc...and don't have to be in manual mode to accomplish this.

jspears8 ... I've literally been looking around everywhere in my settings and such trying to figure it out. ...
Excerpted from the 2015 F-150 owners manual ...
PRS (Progressive Range Selection)
.
.
With the gearshift lever in drive (D), press the – button to active PRS. The available and selected gears are indicated on the instrument cluster.
.

When looking for information, consider the owners manual. There's a wealth of info' contained within.

(owner's manual) Don't have one -OR- would like a digital, searchable desktop document?

Correct, the manual is a wealth of information. However, I was like the OP and the manual says nothing about using the + button in D to turn the display on and off...

Yes, and ..... +(plus) | -(minus) macht nichts. As noted ...

Welp .... Bring it to the attention of the author. Perchance it will be added and you'll get footnote recognition - then you'll have that going for ya on your deathbed.

LOL. Translated...

"I would the (+) of importance is that, since it disables the display and yet it is not mentioned in the manual."

How did I do?
