Incorrect...research lil bro, lots and lots of research. Wifey was mad at me but I searched everywhere knowing there was a solution. Again, IF you find one just get it, dont pass up on it especially if the price is right.

YES! lol There is no difference in size. I had the base 8" bezel and I swapped this one in its place. Everything mounted exactly the same. no modifications were needed. I will be soldering in new LEDs in some of the electronics because I want a more unique look than others. I bought it from a member I met on ebay, along with the full leather interior from the same truck, complete with the rear bench seat frames/cushions. Gotta love the rear seat cup holder/fold down arm rest! Oh, Also bought the USB board and connection wire that we have in the slider in the center console that is also back lit blue. Will be custom installing these in the rear of the flow thru console for rear passenger access. Soooo much going on, so many ideas.

Did you get a Lariat bezel? where from?

Well I know you can change the digital speedo from KPH to MPH by pressing ok on the steering wheel, but you can't change the needle gauge. How would you change the mileage?

Not listening...I changed out the speedo part that has the KPH on it. Removed the needle, pulled up the OEM overlay, replaced it with the MPH overlay, and replaced the needle....the digital speedo can be changed permanently with FORscan.

Default 2016 F-150 IPC Modules?

I just bought a 2016 F-150 XLT with the mid-level instrument panel cluster. The mid-level is the 4.2: information or productivity screen. I have a lot of trouble seeing this display during the day time. It is too dim. At first I thought it was stuck on its dimmest level. But after some research and testing it is fixed at maximum brightness during sensed daylight, way too dim for me. The brightness does not match or track the rest of the instruments.

I thought a way to get a brighter display might be to upgrade to the 8" screen. Can anyone tell me if they have brightness problems during daytime with the 4.2" screen? Is the 8" screen brighter like the 8" center screen?

Thanks
bc

no problems with brightness on either one of mine. You can bring down the brightness of the dash to match the cluster.

Thank you. Only problem with that is I cannot see the 4.2" info display when it is daylight. Dimming the dash to match it would mean I could not see the other instruments.

Maybe I have a bad module??

I think thats how they all are. Several people have mentioned this. You really dont end up bringing down the brightness on the dash that much.

Tinted windows help tremendously as well.
