Find your AA app, long press it, you will get several choices that will pop up, select app info, within the app info select battery, make sure "allow background activity" is turned on. Also in your pull down settings make sure "power mode" is not blue.
Anyone have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 working with Android Auto? Mine will run for a little while then quit. Haven't been able to find a solution. Tried 3 different cables. It's a 2017 with the latest official SYNC software. No idea if it is the phone or the truck. Makes me miss iphone 7 with apple carplay.
I have a Note 10 Plus working with Android Auto without any issues. Have you deleted said phone and tried it again? I do have the latest version of Sync.
Thanks for the help. But so far no luck on any suggestions. I've tried having the phone/cable stationary; still quits eventually. Try a different truck or phone would be a good test, but alas I don't have a spare for either. Knowing others have it working is helpful though.

Yeah, I even did Master reset on Sync. But haven't done it recently. I got the note 10 on the first day it was available so the software has been updated a few times. I should probably do a reset of the phone and sync and start fresh again.

Its strange to me that your toggle for "allow background activity" is greyed out. Mine and the guy who posted the first screenshot are blue. It almost looks like its inactive or something.
Long shot here. Despite having a cable connection, aa still uses Bluetooth for audio connectivity. I had issues with frequent Bluetooth disconnections. I wonder if there is a Bluetooth disconnection if it will cut the aa connection. Here is what fixed that issue for me on a s9. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/psa-s...nnects-460127/

Agree. What is on pg 2 of your settings screen? Swipe over and check it...
Since my truck is getting close to then end of the B2B warranty in October, I took it in for this problem. They found trouble with the APIM - which is odd since everything else works fine, and replaced it. I still have the same problem though. I did try the same cable and phone with another truck on the lot and android auto seemed to work fine, so I think it is something with my truck. Service guy agrees, so at least there is that.
