2018 F-150 Lariat 2.7lt:
I am trying to hardwire a Rexing dashcam. One of the installation videos says that I should not use beyond 7.5A (max) fuse, although Rexing Smart HardWire Kit came with a 15A Mini fuse. I want this dash cam to turn ON only when I start my truck (ACC ON). In the fuse box on passenger side, I see some “Not Used (Spare)” fuses, with 10A, 20A, and 30A ratings (per manual.) Could you guys plz advise:

1) Can I use these “Not Used (Spare)” slots? If yes, I think I can use only 10A slots.

2) Or should I use currently used slots with an add-a-fuse tap. Here again, I think I have to use only 15A or lower slots.

3) Is there an add-a-fuse tap with Mini to Micro2 conversion?

Of course, in either case I will use only those fuses that are LIVE only when I start my truck (ACC ON).
Thanks in advance for your help!

At least for some of them. Ie the fuse for Brake switch. If the brake switch is not the problem when you can shift out of gear or start the vehicle because the vehicle does not recognize when the brake pedal is pressed then check the fuse. Mine was blown.
