Default Fuse that is not always on?

I recently wired up some switches for the grille lights and marker lights. I found a spare 20A fuse to power the switches but it doesn't shut off when the truck locks. I've gone over the fuse box multiple times but that only gives me what fuses are what.

Does anyone know if there is a fuse that shuts off after so many minutes of the truck being locked/shutoff?

Thanks.

What year truck? Fuse boxes have differences between the years.

I would simply use a circuit tester and probe 20a fuses either in the passenger side kick panel or, for what you're using it for, under the hood. Just find one that doesn't stay on when key is off using the probe.

The power comes from the passenger kick plate fuse box through the switches out to the lights. So I would like to try to keep the power coming from that box not the engine bay.

I believe I used fuse 23 in the kick panel to power my sub amp. Keyed fuse. Don't recall the amp rating right now though.

Thanks, the layout says that is a 10A fuse in there.

Right now I'm plugged into fuse 28.

Fuse 37 shows to be a spare, hot in start and run and rated at 20A.
