Default Fuse with Brake Controller?

So I got my new Ford brake controller module in the mail, and included in the package is what appears to be a 30A fuse. I haven't seen anything in installation videos about a fuse. Is that what this is?
Where does this go on my 2017 if it is something I need?

SSM 47320 - 2018 F-150 - Genuine Ford Accessory (GFA) Or Aftermarket Trailer Brake Controller (TBC) Installation

Some 2018 F-150 customers may request installation of a GFA or aftermarket TBC. Depending on vehicle configuration the battery junction box (BJB) may not have the necessary fuse and/or terminals to provide power to the TBC. If the BJB has fuse F24 present, proceed with TBC install. If BJB fuse F24 location only has terminals present, use the 30A fuse (GU5Z-14526-H) found in the GFA TBC kit JL3Z-19H332-AA and proceed with the TBC install. If BJB F24 fuse terminals are not present the GFA TBC kit should not be installed. Do not replace the BJB for this condition. Engineering is aware of this concern and is developing a fused jumper harness kit which is expected to be available 3rd quarter of 2018.

2017 so I should be fine.
I'll save the fuse for my uncle for his 2018. He bought the Max Tow Package, but there is no brake controller. He's going to be upset if he has to get the battery junction box replaced to add it.
Thanks!

Not at all. Glad you explained instead of just saying I don't need it. Now I know what to tell my uncle to look for before he gets a brake controller. I thought we might be able to do his truck too, but now he will take it to the dealer if there is a wiring harness change needed.

Does anyone know if there is a thread about this fused jumper kit or a service bulletin for the issue?
