Fuse Box & Auto Start/Stop
Hi, i recently upgraded my 2014 F150 to a 2018 F150 with Auto Start/Stop. I had my dash camera plugged into a fuse location that had constant power (wanted recording while vehicle off for my job) and my radar detector plugged into a fuse that only had power when the ignition on.
The problem im running into now is that even though i found 2 separate fuses that will do this for me in the fuse box under the passenger dash, it seems to reset power ever cycle of the auto start stop (even the constant power). So every time i stop at a light, both devices reset when the truck comes back on. I assume there must be fuse locations that are not affected by this as the radio and other devices seem to stay on during the auto start/stop.
Basically, if anyone knows 2 fuse #'s that i can use for constant power and ignition only power, that are not affected by the auto start/stop, that would be great. thanks.

I had the dealership turn it off permanently. haven't looked back since.
only other way to do it, would be grab a digital multi meter and start testing fuses while it does the start stop. Constant. voltage should be easy to find.

There are so many ways to do this, and it is hardly tampering, as in not reversible.
