Funnel for capless tank
The one that comes with the truck is the only one I could find than would go in the filler and open up all the capless stuff. So what I did was get a BG funnel that has a large filler neck and a small bottom that fits in the Ford funnel and cup out the restrictor in the Ford funnel and stuck the larger funnel into the smaller funnell. This allows the capless system to open and provides a larger taprget to pour in fuel say out of a gas can.
I bought this one off Amazon, it works fine. I slide the narrow neck into the larger funnel I use for oil changes and slip both in the engine bay pointing rearwardly down past the brake booster.

I have a large funnel with a slant neck that I stick in the Ford funnel in the capless tank.

I do this twice a year when I transition from law mower to snow blower and back I siphon the gas out of the machine being parked for the season back into my fuel can and I pour that into my pickup. And start the new machine season with top tier non alcohol fuel.
Actually not that often. I have 5 gals I've had for a while and was going to just use it up but couldn't get it in with the spout that came with that particular jug. That just got me to thinkin'... what if...
I'd just like to be prepared should the need arise.
I just got this truck a couple months ago and it's 14 years newer than my last newest vehicle so there's lots about this new stuff that has me scratching my head. My last F150 was a 1974, so a lot has changed since then.
