It's truly mind boggling when you think about spending $50 - $60,000 on a vehicle, and then not knowing what features it has and how to use them. The posts about not knowing how to lower the spare tire, or how to use the tools. Do they figure they'll learn on the side of the road in a snowstorm (sure, they can call Ford for 5 years and wait). Who checks the tire pressure (have to lower tire) in the spare?

Yet that coffee maker they buy they read the manual.

I only look at the manual to figure out my radio... and how to make my heated seats stop coming on in the summer...

Actually I downloaded the whole frikken manual because it's easier doing a search in it for what you need on my computer.

^ This. Plus sections are linked making it a breeze to navigate. I print off sheets I use often (maintenance schedule, torque specs, rotation pattern, etc...) and have in a plastic sleeve in my garage.

I haven't opened the paper manual from the glovebox.

Using .pdf format that the user's manual comes in I typed in 'funnel' in SEARCH (without the quotes) and voila: Page 191
