Default Fully Flat Load Floor - Optional?

Was going through the full comparison of trim level options. It lists fully flat load floor but in each trim level column, it says optional. Is that just because it is only fully flat in the crew or is there some option or package that must be chosen to get the flat floor in the crew? I have three dogs so I need all the rear floor space I can get. Thanks!

It's fully flat on the SuperCrew. The optional subwoofer used to be under the right rear passenger seat but has been moved to the back wall for 2015. I did read that they put the optional 400W inverter in that spot now, but the floor is still flat.

Are you saying the inverter sticks up off the floor like the old subwoofer? I don't understand your comment fully. Where did you read that if so? Thanks!

Good question. This pic definitely shows the flat floor, but there may be some underseat storage options that kill it.

Hopefully, any bins sticking out can be removed.

Well, looking at that pic, and seeing others where the inverter line up with where that bin is... its sort of in line with the seatbelts/seat being directly above them. To me, that's space you can't really put stuff in anyway, so having the rest of the floor flat like that seems sufficient/perfect.

Agree
Rear bin looks tucked under the folded seat cushion.

So, what I got out of this thread, is that the sub woofer no longer takes up that chunk of space under the seat, rather it's now embedded into the back wall? Wonder how that's gonna sound being in such a shallow hold? Thanks for the info.
