Fuel assault - what tires and where to buy , pics on ruby Red ?
Hey guys so will be orderimg rims amd tires tomorrow been waiting a long time , decided fuel assault 20" and seen one guy mention BF ta ko tires as great all terrain and nice and quiet better ride then stock so I guess those are it unless anyone can suggest any other tires etc , truck is used as a daily/work vehicle with heavy loads at times but not pulling trailers ever and never off road but would like a more aggressive look ....
Any one got pics with those rims on a ruby red sport ???
My truck is a 2015 lariat ruby red sport , got one of the first out and still love it like the day I got it ...
Also truck is not lifted at all so I want to be sure whatever you advice it will work no rubbing etc - talking tires ....
I have to get no off set right ???
Yes I am a noon in the truck world / modifying kind off.

If you're on the east coast, I would see if AmericanMuscle.com sells them. They basically have all the mods you could need for your F-150. They only sell F-150 and Mustang parts. Is your truck a 4x4? either way I think 20's will rub a bit just from my research. You may have to do a small lift. Cool wheels though.

Alrighty. I'm no expert by any means but I did manage to get 35x12.5's under my last truck with just a level and learned a bit about wheel and tire fitment in the process.
Wheel height doesn't play any role in fitment (unless you're looking at a really tall wheel, 30"+) and even then it's mostly about offset and rim width. Fuel offers the Assault wheel in 20x9 +1mm (offset), 20x9 +20mm, and 20x10 -18mm. The offset is based on how many millimeters the mounting surface of the wheel is away from the center line of the wheel. So a 20x9 +1 will stick out 19mm further than a 20x9 +20. Positive offset pulls the wheel towards the suspension, negative pushes it out.
I have only had my 2016 for a week so I'm not 100% on wheel fitment for it. I am using this site to look up different combos as it tells you (if they put the info right) if it rubs and where. https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wh...r_to=20&page=1
I would say you could safely go with a 20x9 +1 and like 305/55 BFG's and clear, but I can't say with 100% certainty. The site I linked above has good deals on wheels and tires if you buy a package through them (they're reputable) and from what I've been told are very knowledgeable on if it will fit or not. The one thing that has me perplexed after looking at that gallery is one guy is rubbing with 20x9's with 305/55 tires, but another guy is running a 20x10 with 33x12.5 tires just fine. So it doesn't make a whole lot of sense between those two. I hope this helps some. Also, if you don't know the bolt pattern it will be a 6x135.
Other sites to check is tirerack.com or http://rimzoneonline.com
This one is helpful for comparing stock wheels with aftermarket to get an estimation on if it will clear or not. http://rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp?i...9&text1=Sample

One of the best places I have found(even ordered my tires and wheels from) is-
CustomOffsets. Go over to their site and they have tons of pics and info on what works on our trucks with leveling kits or just factory set up.

With a stock suspension, you probably want to try and stay close to the stock backspacing.
The OEM 20" wheels are 8.5 and have a offset of +44, which is about 6.5" backspace. See here - http://www.weldwheels.com/ccwheel/faqs/converter/
With the stock wheels, height isn't too much of a problem with the stock suspension on a 4x4 provided you don't go overboard (~34.5" or less) and don't go too wide (not more than 2" wider, 1.5" would probably be safer), but a 'max width' or 12.5" tire might require a wider wheel than OEM 8.5". Doing both (w/ a 325/60-20 tire, for example) is pushing both the width and the height, so I would suggest a bit less, preferably in width, unless you're lifting or at least leveling.
Many aftermarket wheels are wider than stock, so you'll have to adjust the offset for the width to keep the same backspacing. A 9" wheel w/ 6.5" of backspacing has an offset of ~38. A 10" wheel is about 25mm offset for 6.5" backspacing. Basically, by sticking to a 6.5" backspacing, you're keeping the 'inside' edge of the wheel the same distance from the components behind the wheel, so any additional wheel width over OEM 8.5" translates into the same amount of wheel being 'pushed out' towards (or past) the edge of the fender. (Note that I'm talking about the edge of the wheel, not the section width of the tire, which may be a bit more.)
You can see the effect of changing the wheel and tire combo here - http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whee....1875in&sr=0in
Many lifts have the effect of pulling the wheels in under the truck, which is why, with a lift, it's easier to run a wider tire. But, you generally require less backspacing due to inner edge of the wheel now being closer to the components behind the wheel. I think Fuel wheels tend to cater to the lifted market, which is why their offsets translate to a 5.75" or less backspace. XD seems to have a few wheels that are 20x9 w/ a 30mm offset (6.18" backspace, which should be OK), so maybe look at those?
I hope there's something in that that helps you out.

Keep in mind a 2wd truck is lower than a 4wd, which drastically changes fitment. My last truck the final setup I had was a 2.5" level, 1.5" wheels spacers, 20x9 +20 Fuel Dune wheels, and 35x12.5 nitto trail grapplers. Significantly different backspace over stock. It all comes down to wheels, tires, level, drive, and how much trimming you're okay with on tire and wheel fitment.

Ok ordered
Lund bull bar with LED
Rhino rack roof rack ( actually need it)
For wheels and tires they only let me order what the web site said is verified fitment - details below , please let me k ow how this looks to you.
Looking above those tires look kind off small but if that's all what fits without mods then it is what it is and the rims I know it said 20 or 22 offset but it does not say it now on this copy and paste from order confirmation.
Wheels
FUEL® - ASSAULT Black with Milled Accents (20" x 9", 6x135 Bolt Pattern, 106.4mm Hub)
Tires
BFGOODRICH® 12579 - ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 (LT275/55R20 S)
ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 Tires (12579) by BFGoodrich®. LT275/55R20
Excited like a little kid lol
