Default Frustrated!

Ordered a 2015 Silver Lariat with chrome and 502a package, and some other add-ons on 10/21, production delayed due to late availabilty on wheel lines. Well before the order was put into production my dealer modified the order to add the Max Trail tow package and deleted the original tow package as it was more cost effective than how it was originally built. Truck is now awaiting shipment...NO wheel liners and no Max Trailer Tow package. New truck being ordered on Monday..... and the additional 6 week wait begins. So not only have I waited since 10/21 to get my truck.....it looks like April is going to be my new delivery date.

That's why I didn't order wheel liners

Man, that is a bummer. I dont know if I could have the patience some of you guys do to custom order a truck. There is something about the excitement of driving your new truxj home from the dealer vs. waiting 2 mos.

To some getting exactly what they want is well worth the wait.

To me getting exactly what I want in a 2-4 month time frame is more exciting.

Note: Rear Wheel Liners are no longer designated as a late availability item.

You may want to see if your dealer will do a priority 1 order for you.

It's not worth the wait. I walked into my dealer and they had pretty much every trim level already on the lot in different colors

I never understood why wheel liners aren't standard equipment, especially on higher trim levels. I've never owned a truck without them. You shouldn't be able to see right through a "tough truck".
