Default Front driveshaft?

So, I have a 2016 FTX with the 6” (procomp) lift and my front driveshaft decided to poo the bed finally at 103k.

it’s super loose on the T-case side and makes a racket when driving.

im curious if anyone has a plug for a good custom double cardan joint driveshaft or is sticking with the factory style is the only option?

With the angle it has on the T-case side it’s surprising Ford had anything to do with this kit on these trucks, would’ve thought they’d of tried something else to even out the geometry.

I’m trying to see if I have the same problem. Did you feel any gas pedal vibration especially from 70-80 mph? I’m also can feel some resistance feeling from the pedal..Don’t want to bring it in yet for the dealer to tell me is normal.

Mine rattles like crazy, more so when you’re giving it any acceleration.

I have driveline vibrations from 60-75, I don’t go any faster than that so that’s my experience. I’ve rebalanced my tires, looked everywhere, notice my front driveshaft looking funky and decided to shake it. It’s my problem….. Dang it.

Just so use to upgrading things if I can get one that can aid in angles and strength some more that’s what I want.

Going to need a double/double cardan. The angle is too extreme. I just ordered one from Tom Woods. Pricey but you have no other choice. The rzeppa joints aren't able to handle that much angle.

I paid $1070 for mine. Should get here tomorrow. With a 6" lift the angles are too sharp and so they recommended a double cardan on both ends. You'll have to swap out the flange on the front differential. Everything is included to swap it out. I'll post pics when I get it. Mine is a '13 but it should be the same.

You have to call. They didn't have anything for mine either. They're all custom made.

Curious to see how it works out my buddy bought one from

https://ecdriveline.com/products/200...48866100281665

for his lifted f150 6.5 inch mcgaughys lift and it made the truck shake and vibrate and sounded like bad wheel bearings took it out sent back said the balanced out back in and same thing. So he took it out and left out and wasted 1,100.00 bucks.

i have 7 inch lift and need ones mines destroys rubber boots on on oem shafts in like 2 months.
