Am getting squeaking from both front doors. Took it in and dealer did something with the door check parts and it quieted down. Months later and now it is noisy again, Sprayed silicone in there and no luck. The things are just defective and I don't want to go sit for hours again and have them do the same thing. The parts are only $30 and I want to switch them out myself. Looks like maybe can get it out through the speaker opening, but not sure. The 2015 on up are different than the older ones. Have not been able to find a YT vid on replacing these on a 2017.
Has anyone replaced these? Any ideas before I order them?
Try some white lithium grease. One of the first things I did when I brought home the new truck. WLG on all exterior moving parts and silicone spray on the door seals.

Its the luck of the draw. Some are good and the noisy ones can't be quited. There is a large spring in the metal casing that is making the noise. Some have not been lubed. Bad quality control. Ford contnues to buy these parts and doesn't track why they are being replaced. You can't get to that spring externally.
