Default Front camera washer install

Has anyone installed the front camera in an XLT and added the washer with it? Ive got the camera which comes without the washer and I figured while I'm there I might as well. I see on Tasca, the parts for the jet, cap, and hose but does anyone know how it attaches to the rest of the system? I see no other parts on Tasca for where it might tee off or anything but I suppose if I can't find anything I can just tee off on the main line right because the front cam washer activates with the wipers anyway, right?

Didn't see anything solid in my Google searches but hopefully someone knows something I missed

It just has a "T" to the existing hose coming out of the reservoir.

Actually, I take it back. I thought I had the part numbers but now I'm seeing conflicting listings on Tasca. Has anyone done this to know the part numbers?

In 2018 Ford F-150 >> Body >> Grille & Components, they list HC3Z-17603-A for the spray jet / washer nozzle and JL3Z-17A605-B for the hose.
In 2018 Ford F-150 >> Electrical >> Electrical Components they list FL3Z-17603-D for the washer nozzle and FL3Z-17A605-C for the hose.

This is in the search results for the same vehicle. I don't fully understand the part number system but I believe the first character has to do with the year, correct? So presumably the 'newer' parts would be the better choice? However, the images on Tasca, at least for the washer nozzles, really look nothing alike... The hoses too look different but not terribly so. Thoughts?

I have a related question: When does the washer activate on a truck equipped with it? Somebody said above with the wipers. That makes no sense, and would run the reservoir dry without need. Since there's no separate switch, it should activate with the windshield wash function, I'd say, but couldn't find anything in the manual (maybe I missed it). At any rate, never seen another car with a camera washer; seems useless to me, but maybe it's not.

It does activate with the windshield washer. Not sure where in the manual it might say that but I know it does because there's no separate pump and the line that sends fluid to the windshield sends fluid to the camera.
It might be useless, you're right, but right now my front camera/grill emblem has a hole where the washer is supposed to be so I'd rather have a useless washer than a hole 😉

This is correct. When you use the camera, you can press the front washer button (end of the turn signal stalk) and see the fluid spray the camera clean. It is good for removing salt spray in the winter. Would be awesome if they had one on the back!

Here are the parts i ordered. The washer hose only came up to the top of the grille so i went to autozone and bought some hose and a T. If you already have the camera you should only need the spray jet, washer hose, housing and cap. Unless you already have the housing.. The spray jet just snaps into the housing, put the cap on the sprayer after pulling it through the emblem opening and connect your hose.

JL3Z-19G490-E Front Camera

FL3Z-14B242-A Harness

JL3Z-8213-B Emblem

HC3Z-17603-A Spray Jet

JL3Z-17A605-B Washer Hose

JL3Z-19H511-A Kit - Housing

JL3Z-17C526-A Cap

@JCiesla Did you ever finish this? I see in your profile that you list the front camera as a modification you've completed. I have a 2018 XLT and want to add the OEM style camera to the front... It looks like I have to either cut the grille to fit the camera or replace the grill completely... What'd you end up doing? Any pics?
