Front Bumper
Someone at work backed into my front bumper. Put a pretty good crease in it. I think rather that turn in to my insurance, I will replace it myself.
Is this a fairly easy swap?
Where is a good place to order from?
Thanks

Why wouldn't you turn it in to insurance? It's going to be more than your deductible (I had the same sort of incident with a chrome bumper - about a $1200 repair at my dealer's body shop), and it was hit and run so it shouldn't count against you with your insurance company.

That's exactly what we went through. Lotta redneck truckers with trailer ***** in the hitch that haven't been used in over a decade back into vehicles where the wife works. I replaced the front cap twice because it only cost about $200 from the u-pick-it, but the rear cap was going to be a lot more so I checked... yeah, they would have raised the rate at least enough to cover their cost. Since the caps used were less than the deductible, that's the cheapest route.
I don't view insurance as a straight-up, use it because you pay for it service. I view it as an option for taking care of impact damage. Whatever turns out to be the best financial deal is what I decide on.
