No manipulation but the recip. saw. He cut on the angle and then cut the long flange with the split. He cut the tip with the corresponding angle to square up the angled tip with the side of the truck/tire.

I just want to say thanks to everyone that posted how they keep their trucks shiny and beautiful. I read many threads. The thread "water spots on hood and grill" was very helpful. However, I really do not have a water spot problem, I just wanted a good plan to keep water spots from happening. So, I bought a few products and tried them out on the rear fenders and tailgate of my truck today. I will shine up the cab next weekend as this is very time consuming. I first used Duragloss 901 to wash the truck. Then I used Duragloss 601 polish bonding agent and 105 polish, separately. I buffed off the 601 and 105, and sprayed on Blackfire Sealant. I topped that off with Collinite 845 wax. I have to say that I have never seen such an amazing reflection in any vehicle that I have owned. I took some pictures but the lighting was not the best. Again, I just want to say thanks everyone and I hope this bit of information is helpful.
