Default Flimsy and weak refuel connection

Has anyone experienced an issue at the gas pump where the fuel nozzle won't stay in place and will not allow you to put gas in the tank? I had a 2010 F150 that never had this issue. Its happened on multiple occasions and seems like a bracket or screw is missing...

My F150 and my wife's Focus both have the capless filler and both work perfectly.

I thought it was just the pumps/stations that I go to. But yes, often times the nozzle won't stay all the way in the filler neck. It pops out slightly, just enough to make the pump shut off. When this happens, I have to keep slight pressure on the nozzle handle. I've owned many many many vehicles over the decades and don't recall this happening on any other vehicle. Seems like the capless neck on my '14 F150 was better.

Never been a problem in my state but one gas station in TN I had this problem, I figure your gas station just sucks.

No problems but I still don't like it. I'm old and set in my ways. Did I mention I still use a flip phone?

If you mean the actual filler neck, I noticed mine seems to move around a bit more than my Mustang and 13 F150.
