Default Fox Tuned Ford Performance Level Kit

Im looking at this level kit Ford Performance leveling kit tuned by Ford Performance. (M-18000-F15A)

I just want to level the front out with the back. Been searching the last few days and thought I had my mind set on the Rousch/Fox 2.0 level kit but after finding this one I think I have it narrowed down.

My use for the truck is daily driver and street only. Just want to put some 285/70/17 on it. I would love 315's but thinking MPG's. I dont want to lose that much. I have 265/70.17 on it now.

Anyone else have this leveling kit? If so how does it ride? I would like to keep it as close as possible to factory ride. I know I will sacrifice some softness with the leveling kit. How is the build quality of this level kit?

If I where to be looking for a kit with the needs you have, I would buy this. It gives you the ability to adjust the height up front but more importantly it's specifically valved for our trucks.

It would be nice to know the actual valving difference between the Ford performance and the Roush. I would call fox and see if they can find out.

If you're only driving is on the street, you might consider Bilstein shocks as well. They are probably the most popular. Fox probably come in 2nd in popularity. Both have overwhelmingly positive reviews.
I ended up going with King Shocks, but I'm on dirt roads quite a bit so premium was the way to go for me.

Also, the factory leaf springs like to have around 300 lbs. or so in the bed of the truck for a smooth ride. So if you never have that much weight in the bed and you don't do much towing, you might even look into Deaver Leaf Springs to help soften your ride.

When I was researching what shocks I wanted, I called Fox and asked them that question.... they said they have no idea, you need to talk to Ford to find out what they do differently.

If you search this forum a little bit, there was a post regarding the 3 Fox options, 2.0s, Roush and Ford Performance, their ride characteristics and which would be better for which application. I was looking thru it a few days ago. But don't remember the title off hand.

I’m on Bilstein 5100 with 2.1” lift. Raptor take offs. Love the ride and the look. Get about 17-18 mpg on my 5.0 V8. Mostly highway

Much thanks for this info. I wasnt aware of those leaves. Sounds interesting. I did notice when I hauled some junk to the scrap yard the truck felt planted better and every bump in our Pennsylvania horrible roads (which we pay a high gas tax to fix em) felt much more smoother. The back end didnt feel like it hopped at all. Im definitely gonna check into this option.

Where did ya find your raptor take offs? Im not sure what to look for. Sounds interesting. If I may ask what kinda price to the take offs go for? Close to what this Ford Performance tuned kit or the Fox 2.0/Rousch kit goes for?
