Default Fox 2.0 shocks

Are they really worth it? im debating them over just getting a standard level for my mostly road driven sometimes offroad 2015 xlt. Is the ride going to be that much better than stock?

I have the 2.0s on the rear of my truck and on the rough roads and potholes they are 10x smoother and more stable on the rough stuff and I haven't even done the front end yet. I imagine the front would be even better. Just feels more controllable

Most people report the larger difference being on the rear. I'd assume that's because there is less weight in the back and the rear springs are softer.

Do you notice an improvement in high speed wollowing in the turns? The stock suspension is driving me nuts with its splashy suspension on highway turns (>55mph). My old 4x4 1500 suburban had much better cornering stability and need to address this soon.

Not sure if this helps but we did a review video of those and if you guys want i will post our comparison of the fox V icons. It may help you decide on leveling kit or fox.

Yes night and day. I can take corners much sharper with a 6 inch lift and the 2. 0s in the rear than I could even stock. No lean or rock at all. It's solid. I think you will be really impressed with the ride of the Fox

can anyone else verify the better ride with different rear shocks...i drive 98 percent on the street but as a everyday driver would like a smoother ride....the local fox dealer said changing the shocks will do nothing for my ride..and recommended one or 2 bags of sacrete instead.....got the same report from sd truck springs...if they are wrong and i can get a noticable better ride just changing shocks, hey im all for it....i went through this once with my electraglide..where everyone was saying Ricor valved shocks would smooth the ride....600 dollars later it was worse than stock

Yes I can attest to how much better the truck takes turns, and driving over bumps. Offroad it's 10x better than stock, doesn't compress too much and when it does it rebounds quick. You will lose the mushy cadillac feel though.

Well put it's less mush much more stable and you feel way more in control. The truck hugs the road better and eats up any blemishes in the road. If anything start with a set of 2. 0s in the rear. They run about 250 for the set and you can DIY in about an hour with basic tools. Didn't even need a Jack. If you love it do the fronts too. Worst case is you hate it and sell them to recoup money. Best case is you love it and it's a new truck ride all together

I have the 2.0's on the rear of my truck, and it is certainly more stabile. There's no more body roll and the handling is great. My problem is that I have the BDS lift with the 2.5 coilovers. Awesome kit but I feel there is still room for improvement on the ride. It handles the big holes better but the little things it's rougher. It may be more of the coilovers than the rear 2.0's though. I'm considering putting the DSC controls on the coilovers and 2.5 piggybacks with DSC controls on the rear.
