FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck
It's my first day
This might be a dumb question, but do these ForScan mods work the same on a Raptor? Buddy of mine just got one and his gauge cluster looks a bit different than mine, so I don't know if the value configuration will work the same. Don't want to try to help him with some changes and inadvertently mess something up.

Scratch that. My mistake.

Is it possible to increase the ambient lighting output with FORScan? I would for it to be brighter.
I use a weight distribution hitch for my camper and prefer to leave it in the receiver because 1) it's pretty heavy and I hate carrying it to the shop and 2) it's great protection should someone rear end you in traffic. It's a 50# wrecking ball! Problem is, it is large enough to trigger the backup sensors and I hate hearing the alarm every time I back up!
Does anyone know if it possible to disable individual back up sensors in FORScan? I'd love to leave the outer 2 active and disable the inner two.

Imported Canadian truck
I'd like to start by saying thank you to those that have taken the time to post all of the information they have learned about Forscan! Reading this forum over the last several days has convinced me to download the software and order an adapter cable.
I plan to add the Lincoln style autofold mirrors (this should have been factory! or at least an available option), the reverse tilt mirrors, disable the double horn honk and global window open/close mods along with a couple more.
I wouldn't have even considered doing any of this if not for the detailed explanations on here! I can't wait for the adapter to arrive!
I have been reading posts on this thread for a couple days and haven't seen anything that adresses my situation yet, but I apologize if it has been. There is a lot of posts to go through! I have a 2015 Lariat that was originally a Canadian lease truck. I bought it in 2016 with less than 18,000 miles on her. I love this truck! But there is one thing I would also love to change. Every time I start the truck, the digital speedometer defaults to kilometers per hour. Has anyone found a way to change this to miles per hour? This can be changed back and forth by pressing the OK button on the steering wheel, but has to be done every time I start the truck. The dealer swapped the analog display before I bought the truck, so that has the MPH on the outside and the KPH on the inside like other US trucks. When I first bought the truck, all of the display was in French, and I had to pull a fuse to get it to reset so I could change the default language to English, but the digital speedometer still defaults to KPH.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

I don't think Forscan can set it to default to MPH, may need a firmware flash to the IPC for that.
