With the auto fold tow mirrors, if you do the forscan mod but don't switch the wires what happens?
What is the best order to do it, forscan then wires? I assume not really touching anything in between.
( only on about page 350 of my reading this thread, lol)

If you do it without switching wires it works in reverse, when you press lock button the mirrors unfold and when your press unlock they fold closed. You can manually open the mirrors with the switch on door panel and it won't be affected so it doesn't matter the order (FORScan first or wiring first).
