Default Forscan to remove the CD player??

Looks like people have removed the XM radio icon but what about the useless CD player in my 2018? Can that be removed on the screen from forscan? I will also be replacing the radio trim without the CD player a lot. Thanks!

I did this a couple of years ago when I installed the Autotec screen. Been so long, I can't remember the details. Try the spreadsheet. Forscan Spreadsheet

Thank you. I had a look a lot that sheet for awhile but don’t really see where that would be.

On 'That Spreadsheet', tab ACM (2018-20), line 60 indicates a setting of 727-01-01 xxxx xxxA xxxx for the CD player.
It looks like setting the 'A" to 3 (External CD or No CD) may be what you want.
Of course, I have not tried it (I keep a CD in mine for backup - to play if nothing else works).
You can make the quick change and then change it back if it is not what you want....GDLK

unfortunately those changes didn’t remove the CD player or the option of it. None of the numbers did anything noticeable.
