I did the Forscan changes as described in the sweet spreadsheet from the Forscan thread but wondering if anyone else has had the problem that the mod didn’t work. Thought I’d ask in a new thread as well.

What exactly does that mod do? My mirrors fold in with the switch but is this mod to fold them automatically say when you park it?

Yes. It’s supposed to auto fold them in when you lock the truck and unfold when you open the door

2015 here. I did the mod, works great. Remember if you close them with the door switch when you lock or unlock the door the mirrors do not move. They will open/close with the fob if you have not manually closed them with the door switch.

Haven’t closed them with the door switch and they don’t auto open/close. Bummer.
Do yours auto open/close when you lock the truck by just touching the door handle thing?

Yes. I would suggest to check everything. Perhaps set it back to stock and try again. It does work. Do the regular mirrors and not the Lincoln.

I read somewhere that it could take several cycles of open and close to get it to start working. I opted for the Lincoln-Style auto fold which folds them when i press the lock button on the fob or key pad and only unfolds if the driver's door is opened then closed.

Mine work fine. Recheck your values. Mine close when locked with fob or keypad on door. Open when I open door, unlock with fob or unlock with door keypad.

Well interesting. I could not get the standard numbers to work no matter what I did. I entered the numbers for the Lincoln settings and it works like a champ. It’s really nice...they close when you lock and only fold open when you start the truck. I can open and close the doors as many times as I want and they stay folded.

I just changed mine. I had x80x instead of x84x at 740-03-01 and 741-03-01. I like this one better as they don't unfold as much. Thanks!
