Default FordPass magic

I was this many days old when I learned about the FordPass app...I have had my F150 for about 5 months (2019 XLT Screw, bought it used) and had no idea I could get this app and remote start my truck...I downloaded it, set it up, and had my waiting truck running as I went to the parking lot at work. Amazing. Are there any other magical apps or tools I'm unaware of? I do have ForScan and used it to calibrate my speedometer, disable the auto start/stop, and activate the window rolldown. I haven't found a way to keep Sport mode engaged without a hardware mod, though so if that exists, I'd love to hear about it.

I read yesterday that there is an add on to keep sport mode active. I'm interested as well. Don't feel bad about remote start app, same thing happened to my daughter with her Toyo.

you guys must live in warmer climates, if you didn't know about the fordpass app lol. Here in Canada when it's -40 on the coldest day you better have to ability to start your truck without even going near a cold windows.

I grew up in the frozen wasteland of South Dakota, so I definitely remember having two keys, one to start it and one to get in after it was warm...we didn't have any remote starts back then but the need was there. In Florida it's the opposite, I need the AC as quickly as possible now...

I have locked my truck from inside the store when it suddenly hit me that I may have not locked it. Thats a nice feature. And useful for us old geezers.

Today Granny made the 120 mile trip to visit the grand and great grand daughters.. approximately 1:45 my Ford Pass sent me a message that there was a check engine lite on. She had been there for a couple of hours. Either she was not paying attention or maybe it detected a problem after the truck was parked. I will scan it when she returns.

I have FordPass on my phone and in my truck, but I can't find any of these options you are talking about. I can't remote start, remote lock the doors, anything cool like that. All I can do is see my fuel level, miles, and oil life.

Am I missing something?

I'm not 100% sure, but thought it was only on 2019 and up? But I literally learned about it this week, so I'd wait for a better source.

Not included in 2016 models, need a modem. Ford did have an addon kit available but I don't think it is available now.
