For sure, as there was nothing to figure out. Push unlock, door will unlock, push start, it will start.

Haha, I think it's safe to say all went well or we would be hearing about it!

I would like to know more about this.

When the battery is replaced it needs to "rest" for 8 hrs before starting the vehicle?

Might be a little bit of an issue if the battery fails while driving/towing cross-country and you have to wait for 8 hrs after the battery is replaced to continue on.

Page 320 of the F150 manual:

Battery Management System (If
Equipped)

The battery management system monitors
battery conditions and takes actions to
extend battery life. If excessive battery
drain is detected, the system temporarily
disables some electrical systems to
protect the battery.
Systems included are:
• Heated rear window.
• Heated seats.
• Climate control.
• Heated steering wheel.
• Audio unit.
• Navigation system.

A message may appear in the information
displays to alert you that battery
protection actions are active. These
messages are only for notification that an
action is taking place, and not intended to
indicate an electrical problem or that the
battery requires replacement.

After battery replacement, or in some
cases after charging the battery with an
external charger, the battery management
system requires eight hours of vehicle sleep
time to relearn the battery state of charge.
During this time your vehicle must remain
fully locked with the ignition switched off.

Note: Prior to relearning the battery state
of charge, the battery management system
may temporarily disable some electrical
systems.

Nothing in the glove compartment about it, no supplemental manual.

I talked tho two on the Phone, and two on the phone app chat. None new their product. Took three days for them to respond to an e-mail, and the e-mail did know that the Fob should work as normal. Got that e-mail yesterday afternoon, saw it when I was already home

While it is a first world problem, its significant if you do not know your truck will start, have been at sea for 21 days, and have a 623 mile drive home.

For about 9 hours I was enjoying the 9.5 hour, 623 mile drive home. Nice I did not have to stop for gas, just a quick rest area stop:thumbs:

So yes the truck Key Fob worked as normal.

Yes I was stressed over nothing.

I am still pissed it doesn't not take about it in the manual, and the both Fordpass customer service and Ford customer service knew nothing about it and suggesting having my truck towed.

Had either been able to tell me it would start like normal, there would have been no post and no stress.
