Thank you to everyone. So the bottom line is that I can't use FordPass at home to start or unlock the truck. It gives me the last available details (fuel, tire pressure, etc.) from when the truck was last driven somewhere that has ATT coverage.

That would be 100% correct.

However, you should peruse the threads that discuss how to activate (or install, vehicle dependent), remote start via keyfob for use at your home, if remote start is that important to you.

I can try, but knowing my wife she wouldn't believe it if you told her I was 100% right and had it all figured out.

I have no problem with connecting Ford Pass to start and lock / unlock my 2020 F150. At least at home, since I haven't tried it away from the house yet. I'm not sure why you can't.

My cell phone is Verizon and I tried FordPass when I first got the truck. So how do we know it's A T & T?

Your truck's connection to the internet is via AT&T service.

FordPass works via the internet.

You guys should all read this: https://owner.ford.com/fordpass.html

FordPass Connect (optional on select vehicles), the Ford Pass App and Complimentary Connected Service are required for remote features (see FordPass Terms for details). Connected service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi hotspot.
