Ram was always 3rd among the big 3 however they will certainly continue to gain market share with their current trends. They make a great truck and are priced exteremely well along with the fact that the incentives they offer no other manufacturer can touch. Heck I bought my Ram last year new for 17k off the sticker price. You will never see that from the other 2.
Normally when you see massive markdowns, like the incentives for Ram. it means the product is massively overpriced. And if there is a Ram recall, you will probably buy a new truck long before FCA either has an idea how to fix it or have the parts available.

Just ignore him. He is butt hurt over something and is posting on his hate at every chance he can get. Maybe get the mods to change his name to Negative Nancy.

One thing about RAM, they greatly improved their crash protection and are just as good as the F150 now. That was one of the reasons I held off from trying Ram, the other were first year blues, been there, done that, don't wish to repeat it. Just wait for the 2020 model, rumor has it that it will blow Ram away. Will see.

I love Ram. However, they've been plagued for years with quality issues. 2019 might change all that? We will see, time will tell.

Like grinding IWEs and rattling engines and warped dashboards and frozen doorlocks and leaking sunroofs and clunky transmissions? Do the Ram forums have a lemon law thread with 400 posts?

I wouldn't be afraid to buy a Ram. Frankly I think all the domestic trucks have rather crappy quality, unfortunately. If Toyota could produce a modern truck and sell them with the same incentives, sky would be the limit for them.

Well made point. They did have epic issues with the EcoDiesel but other than that, no they have not had the consistent issues that are seen with the Fords. Many will argue this piont and back and forth it will go however there is truth to it. Ram has the random "one off" issues but they are quirky and not consistent for the most part. They do have their recalls but not nearly to the amount that Ford has.

No knock on Ford, I drive one, like it. I drove Ram's, like them. Not a fan of Chev's but that's based on the repair percentages I see in my shop.

Percentage wise though, how many fords to rams are sold? With more Ford being sold, there is going to be a higher number of complaints. Time will tell on if Ram has improved. Like Ford, many of the issues stem from the dealerships themselves than the company, and from what I have read both brands have their company CSR issues.

GM and Ram are still selling a **** ton of trucks!

Butt hurt? wheres that coming from? I don't post flowers and rainbows like many on here. I post my own experiences and I guess thats offensive? And here I thought you (acdii) were coming around some and showing some maturity...guess I was wrong.

Here's where this thread is coming from...

I have seen your posts every where including the superduty thread, bashing Fords engines. Here in this thread, instead of constructive criticism, just more bashing.
